Harris Calnan Team to Abseil Down the Leadenhall Building for Maggie’s Charity
The team at Harris Calnan are taking on a new challenge this summer. We are partnering with a group of industry professionals to abseil down the iconic Leadenhall Building in London, all in support of Maggie’s charity.
This is not your typical day on site. Known as the ‘Cheesegrater’, the Leadenhall Building stands at 225 metres tall, making this an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.
Supporting Maggie’s
Maggie’s is a charity that provides free support to people with cancer and their families. Their centres are designed to offer practical help, emotional support and a calm space during an incredibly difficult time.
Each centre is located alongside major NHS hospitals, making support easily accessible when it is needed most. Visitors can speak with experienced professionals, join support groups or simply take a moment away from the clinical environment.
From advice on treatment to financial guidance and wellbeing support, Maggie’s helps people navigate every stage of their cancer journey and their approach focuses on treating the whole person, not just the illness.
The work they do has a real and lasting impact on thousands of individuals and families every year.
Working Together as an Industry
This challenge brings together a number of professionals from across the construction and property sector. It is a great opportunity to step away from the day-to-day and come together for a shared cause. Members of the Harris Calnan team will be joined by other consultants, contractors and collaborators who are all committed to raising funds and awareness for Maggie’s.
